Dear Molly

I'm using CC-Non Derivative images in a printed work (distributed as a PDF via email). I sometimes need to crop an image a bit to get the text and images balanced right, and into the space available. In print materials this is often necessary, in fact. None of the cropping transforms the image to any significant extent at all; the essence of the image remains. Can this be done to a CC Non-Derivative licenced image?
Kind regards
Rob
